| Regular office hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on Friday. The office is generally closed from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm Monday through Thursday for lunch. | ||
Outside these office hours the answering service, which is not physically located in our office, takes calls. For emergencies, the patient is asked to either dial 911 or to speak to a nurse who screens calls for the doctor. Call is shared among a number of physicians for after hours calls, and the nurse has access to the on call doctor 24 hours a day 7 days a week for emergencies. With the exception of medications which if neglected would cause a life-threatening situation (e.g. heart medication, seizure medication), ALL medication refills should be handled during normal office hours. NO refills for narcotic medications will be given by the on call staff.
